Chris was born on February 14, 1985, in Beverly, where he grew up surrounded by the scenic beauty of the North Shore. From an early age, Chris was known for his vibrant personality and his ability to bring joy to those around him. He was a graduate of Beverly High School and went on to attend the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. His academic achievements were matched by his passionate commitment to his community and his career.

After college, Chris began working at a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged youth. His colleagues remember him for his boundless energy and his unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others. Chris was deeply involved in various community initiatives, from organizing fundraisers to mentoring young people. His efforts were driven by a sincere desire to help others and improve his community, and he made a significant difference in many lives through his work.

Outside of his professional life, Chris was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hiking, kayaking, and exploring the natural beauty of the North Shore. His weekends were often filled with adventures, whether it was a scenic hike through the woods, a leisurely paddle on the river, or a spontaneous road trip to discover new places. Chris’s love for the outdoors was matched by his enthusiasm for sharing these experiences with friends and family, and he was always the first to invite others to join him on his latest adventure.

Chris’s family was his greatest joy. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Lisa Thigpen, and his two younger sisters, Emily and Rachel, who were his closest confidantes and friends. He was also a devoted uncle to his niece and nephew, who adored him for his playful spirit and his constant support.

In addition to his family, Chris is remembered by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances who were touched by his kindness and generosity. He was known for his warm smile, his genuine interest in others, and his ability to make everyone feel valued and appreciated.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. A memorial service will take place on Friday, July 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 221 Cabot Street, Beverly. The family invites all who knew Chris to join them in celebrating his life and sharing memories of the joy he brought into their lives.
