Gary Gorman of Mckinney, Texas, and MISD Senior Director has died. The McKinney Independent School District (MISD) is saddened by the untimely passing of Gary Gorman, Senior Director. Gorman was a well-liked member of the community whose service and dedication touched many people’s lives, even outside of his work.
Colleagues, friends, and those who knew Gorman well have been extremely grieved by the news of his passing. Gorman was a key figure in developing educational programmes and policies that helped workers and students at MISD as a Senior Director. His sincere concern for the community’s educational welfare and unwavering dedication to excellence characterised his leadership.

Gary Gorman’s Celebration of Life will take place at First McKinney, 1615 W. Louisiana Street, McKinney, TX 75069, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 2:30 PM. This is going to be a celebration of memories and a way to honor a man whose contributions to McKinney’s educational scene will never be forgotten.
The family has asked that donations be made in Gary Gorman’s honour to a scholarship fund or charitable organisation rather of flowers, highlighting his lifelong commitment to learning and volunteerism.
