Lana Testa has passed away suddenly. She was confirmed dead on Monday, July 8, 2024 following social media publications informing the public of her death. According to reports she died at the age of 74 in a tragic accident. She was a loving lady who helped many during the course of her life, including family, friends, clients and many others in her community. She will always be missed by all those who had the privilege of meeting her during the course of her life.

What happened?

The driver of the vehicle, who authorities have only identified as a man from Mashpee, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries; the passenger, who State Police have identified as Lana Testa, also of Mashpee, died at the scene of the crash. Ana was a very talented lady who will always be missed by her craft friends and all who knew her. According to a spokesperson with the Massachusetts State Police, troopers responded to a fatal crash on Route 495 South near Route 24 in Bridgwater around 3:18 p.m. on Saturday.

Following the crash, a special blood transfusion truck was sent out. This was the truck’s second deployment. It belongs to the Canton Fire Department and provides blood transfusions while traveling to the hospital. It can respond to calls in a 30-minute radius around 25 communities. The Canton Fire Department developed this program in partnership with a trauma surgeon at Boston Medical Center.
