Jonah Meyer Fox Sports Death: Longtime Feature Producer at Fox Sports has died

Jonah Meyer has passed away tragically. The longtime Fox Sports feature producer died leaving the hearts of many saddened by his sudden loss, including those in the Fox Sports community, outside it, his family, friends and community at large. He was confirmed dead on Tuesday, July 8, 2024 following recent social media publications informing the public of the tragic news. The general public is urged to keep his family in their thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this sad and difficult time.

After putting in a lot of effort, Jonah followed his creative passion and was hired by Fox Sports as a feature producer. He spent more than 16 years there, having a lasting effect on both the staff and the production system. Jonah Meyer took home the Outstanding Studio Show Daily Sports Emmy in 2012. At the time, he was one of the ten feature producers for the show. Fox NFL Sunday once more won the Emmy in 2023 in recognition of its exceptional performance and as a tribute to the whole team.

Stephen Meyer was born in 1943 and will turn 81 this year in 2024. His parents, Stephen and Patricia Meyer, were married on August 23, 1980 in Capitola, California, and moved to Aptos a month earlier. Jonah’s parents are from Burbank, California, and Patricia is from Los Angeles, California.

Stephen, on the other hand, went to Burbank High School and UC Santa Barbara to study political philosophy. He also studied group dynamics at UCLA and obtained a second degree in human and organizational behavior from San Jose State University. He started working at Syntex Corporation in the Leadership and Organizational Development position after graduating. Later, in 1994, he was employed by 3Com as a senior director of organizational and human development.

Stephen began working with Windhorse Consulting in 2001 and held the position of principal until his retirement. To show his pride in Jonah, Stephen shared a picture of Jonah with the Emmy Award on Facebook in 2012.
