Florian Willfort has passed away suddenly. Florian tragically died following an incident that is still under investigation. His death was devastating, and those who knew him both personally and professionally are in a state of mourning. Willfort was a man who loved life to the fullest and was a daredevil. His absence will be sorely mourned. He was annouced death through various social media publication.

About Florian Willfort

Florian Willfort, a 25-year-old Austrian native, was raised in the United States and went to Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas. Willfort excelled academically, was a leader in numerous clubs, and participated in sports. He was a prominent member of the German club and played soccer and football on the varsity team. In Rubik’s Cube Club, his sharp mind and high IQ were put to good use.

Education and Life

After high school, Willfort knew he wanted to pursue his dreams, so he enrolled at Texas Tech University to study architecture, engineering, and business—a magnificent triple threat! Florian never let up in college, joining a lot of organizations again, participating in cheerleading, student government, the Men’s Polo Club, and more! He also pledged to the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. After graduating in 2020 after six years of study, Florian worked as an intern at the Turner Construction Company in Dallas, Texas. He took a unique year off in 2021 and then joined Plug Power as a Sourcing Engineer, a position he held until June 2022.

Additionally, he worked as a sales engineer for KUSTEC, an Austrian business that specialized in chillers for the hydrogen sector. In addition, Willfort had positions as an office engineer at HENSEL PHELPS and a technical sales engineer at WEH Technologies Inc. Florian passed away unexpectedly in June 2024, ending his brief but incredibly successful existence. According to reports following his death. he  died as a result of a tragic accident.

A quick look at Florian Willfort’s Instagram account reveals that he took the time to travel, visit new places, and make friends everywhere. He led a life full of love, adventure, and companionship. He loved to run, hike in the mountains, surf the waves, and go on any kind of adventure you could imagine.
